1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FaithStride platform, mobile app, and related services. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms. If you disagree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 16 years old to use FaithStride. When registering, you must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must promptly report unauthorized access.

3. Use of the Service

FaithStride grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal spiritual and community purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities;

• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the software;

• Interfere with the platform’s integrity, availability, or security;

• Upload or distribute offensive, defamatory, or infringing content.

We may monitor usage to ensure compliance and maintain community safety.

4. Subscription and Payments

Certain FaithStride features may require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us or our payment provider to charge the applicable fees. Subscription renewals occur automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Prices and features may be adjusted with notice.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all personal content you create (e.g., journals, prayer entries, notes). By using the platform, you grant FaithStride a limited, worldwide license to store, display, and process this content solely to provide the Service.

We retain ownership of all FaithStride intellectual property, including designs, code, and trademarks. You may not reproduce or distribute our materials without prior written consent.

6. Privacy and Data Handling

Your use of FaithStride is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we will process your personal data in accordance with that policy.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse of the Service. Upon termination, your right to use FaithStride ceases immediately, and your account data may be deleted following applicable retention rules.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

FaithStride is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaithStride shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability in any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FaithStride, its team, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, unless otherwise required by your local jurisdiction. Any dispute shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, submitted to arbitration or the appropriate courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be communicated via email or within the app. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
