Jesus accomplished more than anyone who has ever lived, yet He never appeared rushed. He regularly withdrew to pray, spent time with the Father, and focused on the people and assignments God had given Him.
He did not allow every opportunity or every demand to determine His priorities. It is possible to be occupied with many good things while neglecting the most important things.

Martha was busy serving, while her sister Mary chose to sit at Jesus' feet and learn from Him (Luke 10:38-42).
Jesus did not criticize Martha's service - service matters. He reminded her that she had become distracted by many things when one thing was most necessary.
Both sisters loved Jesus. Only one had made room to actually be with Him.
An Intentional Yes and No
God calls us to work diligently, but He also calls us to live intentionally. Every decision, commitment, and opportunity should be weighed against His purpose for our lives.
